I noticed something really irritating in this picture someone posted on a Hot Wheels forum:
Sure, giving the four "Race Team" characters actual faces is alright. Making them cartoony is certainly setting up for either a TV show on a channel nobody has heard of or a 45-minute movie that will come with a playset, so that's alright too. But when it comes to racial diversity, they made the stupidest mistake that seems to ALWAYS happen and nobody cares to take ten seconds to fix it: Don't make your yellow character be the only Asian one.

1. The movie's out already (look below)
2. He's not Asian. His name is Wyatt and he's American with a Southern drawl and a mullet

Quit yer whining.
40 years ago they wouldn't have even made a Asian character.

There's a Red under my bed, and a little yellow man in my head...

I saw that show, the only episode of it, because my son actually really liked it, but this character never struck me as Asian. More white trashy, actually. he wears a trucker hat, speaks in more or less a southern drawl, and his name is Whyatt.
